Payments Audit Manager - up to $180k We are currently partnered with a leading financial institution seeking a Manager to join their Audit function to oversee audits related to payments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the organization maintains a robust control environment, complies with evolving regulatory expectations, and manages operational and technology risks across high-volume payments platforms.
This position offers the opportunity to influence the control environment of a rapidly growing transaction banking and payments business. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with strong knowledge of payments, money movement, banking operations and risk management frameworks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the full life-cycle of audits, including risk assessment, scope development, planning, fieldwork execution, issue evaluation, and reporting.
• Supervise audit teams, providing coaching, feedback, and quality checks to ensure testing meets internal standards and regulatory expectations.
• Execute complex audits over transaction banking processes, high-volume payment operations, virtual accounts, and embedded financial services.
• Identify operational, regulatory, technology, and financial risks across payment ecosystems.
• Present audit findings and insights to senior leadership.
• Build strong working relationships with business partners and maintain ongoing communication as part of continuous monitoring.
• Monitor emerging risks, regulatory updates and industry developments affecting payments and transaction banking.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of payment rails is preferred.
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, accounting business, information systems or related fields.
• Certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, CAMS, APRP or FRM are a plus. At least one is required.
